I had used Allstate for several years. I got married and had a joint bank account so I called to update my card. I was on auto pay for years so I assumed that when I updated my card that it would continue to auto draft. I noticed it wasn’t so I called again and also asked my name to be changed. I kept getting everything with my maiden name so I emailed and was asked to call yet again. Then the biggie, my rates increased due to late payments. Price jumped 22 dollars after quoted 123. Not a fan. Any recommendations on insurance companies?
The office personnel are very nice. However, the claims staff and adjusters are not even in Tennessee and are extremely difficult to deal with. This would include bad mouthing Allstate (they are contract and not Allstate employees), broken appointments, not having access to local files, and failure to contact claimant in a reasonable number of days. Never even heard from inside adjuster whom according to local agency, should have contacted me days before I went to local agency to provide receipts. Nice people and fair pricin... read more
