I thought I had found the perfect spot to rent from, but had some questions before I made any decisions. After calling four times, leaving two voicemails, and emailing, I heard nothing back. I decided to submit an application, including the $30 fee, and finally got an email saying they were full. In other words, they ignored me until I gave them money, then told me they were full. I feel this is a red flag with poor communication between management and tenant (or prospective tenant). Apply at your own risk

Great place! Close to campus, good management, amazing YSA ward, good people and environment. The only downside is the laundry room and that you have to pay the machines with quarters.

I lived at Allred for two years and loved it! Because it's not managed by Redstone or Legend or any of those bigger companies, the landlords make sure that everything is satisfactory. The management has changed since I've lived here and it's much better now. The YSA ward is fantastic and the proximity to campus is hard to beat! I lived here for one semester, and I found the management to be completely unreasonable and unsatisfactory. In one instance, I came home to our water being shut off with no warning, and it stayed off for 20 hours - overnight! Requests for repairs were seldom met in a timely manner. After I moved out, my security deposit was not refunded until 36 days later, and only after I had emailed them about it multiple times and even contacted the Center for Conflict Resolution. I lived here for a little over a year, and found this to be probably the best place I've lived in, as far as shared bedroom units go. Management does a pretty good job of responding to maintenance requests promptly, and the apartments themselves are kept in good condition (furniture is not too old, etc.) such that it is easy to keep it looking clean.
