I recently had my knee replaced here. I was so impressed with my care. I really felt like the staff cared about me, not just for me. The food service (called room service) was tasty and timely. The alternative pain treatment options are amazing. When you have to be in the hospital this kind of care is very pro-healing.

This is my sister Abbiya Taylor, she’s 21 years old. On July 17th she was admitted to Abbott Northwestern Hospital and diagnosed with Cerebral Venues Sinus Thrombosis. By the time she was finally admitted she had been to Abbott several times as well as Fairview Southdale Hospital and misdiagnosed. These hospitals failed her, the doctors failed her, the nurses and staff all failed her. Her health dramatically declined between May and June. Today she sits in a coma. Her life has been reduced to a shell of who she was. Maybe sh... read more

I do recommend this place but I'm not happy with the fact that family is not apart of the discharge. They just take the words of my dad and that's it. He has other issues but nobody seems to listen to what my mom and I go through with him. I'm not happy one bit.

Abbott Northwestern Hospital should not hire openly homophobic nurses like Megan Krueger!

The nurses are unbelievable here. They go above and beyond to help you on the road to recovery. The ID team is amazing as well!

I recently spent several hours in ER and finally admitted to the outpatient unit. I was there the better part of the following day, tests and waiting for results. I can’t think of one negative part of the experience. Everyone was over the top professional and friendly — ER staff, the medical staff on my floor, the person who delivered my lunch, the person who transported me back and forth to my tests. Great hospital.

This hospital is the Absolutely worst place to have a baby if you're a diabetic. The nurses there don't even know how to administer insulin to the patients. They throw the patient out after 2.5 days following a c-section. & don't even get me started on the NICU nurses. they are a clueless lot as well. especially a nurse name Kim, her attitude Sucked!! Having have a child in the NICU is stressful enough & then you have to deal with nurses and their horrible attitude. I personally wouldn't recommend a dog have their puppies at... read more
