I have the Alfa with SRAM Red Tap and after 500 miles endorse it 100% They even put my USAF service decal on it for me.
In a world full of options i chose Allied because of their customer service and “All American Made” ethos. Of course it is an amazing bike, well engineered, with lots of amazing aspects... just like a lot of other bikes out there. Allied has their stand out features, others have theirs. Just tested the Allroad model. Result: Frame being ordered tomorrow!!! Also tested a LightSpeed model on the same stretch of road ... and found that, in my opinion, the AllRoad carbon frame geometry significantly ate up the chip seal vibration more effectively than the LightSpeed titanium frame. Kudos to John the owner of Project Bike in Bend, Oregon who rode with me. He ensured that both bikes were set up as equal as possible to give me a fair comparison and also gave me an education on various component options.

I've got about 850 miles on my Allroad 54+ (Allied candy apple fade frame set, Campagnolo Record disc, Mavic Cosmic Pro Carbon) since mid April. Lots of vertical here in the Colorado Rockies with long descents. Getting home is a 500 foot vertical climb! Great bike at speed and climbing. No regrets. November update: 3500+ miles ridden here in Steamboat Springs, CO - it's been a rock solid season. Time to hang up the bike and get out the skis.
