The venue was fine, but I was mostly impressed by the security staff!! They were TOP NOTCH!! They were there making sure people were having a good time while genuinely caring for their safety. (I've never seen security handing out water the whole time and asking if young people were "good") They did an amazing job and I was seriously impressed.
Twenty One Pilots, Jon Bellion, and Judah and the Lion was an awesome show! My wife and I took our sons (11 and 14) to their very first concert.
We had a good time at the Monster Truck Nationals. No issues at all
Went for the holiday craft show. Was not a craft show but a sales show for vendors. Way to many people and no room to move. Vendors didn't have room to show anything and booths were to small. Felt sorry for them. Parking was7.00 and that was a ripoff. Won't go back again. Not worth it
AWESOMENESS!!! I work here. You people are GREAT!!!
Having to stay in a beer garden was ridiculous, I've never been to a concert that didn't allow you to enjoy your drink during the show
I have never beer to a rock concert where you had to drink beer at a beer garden instead of brining it into the arena. Same thing for some water. My friend was allowed to bring water in but it had to be in a paper cup (shaking my head) I had to walk all around the arena because the nearest ATM was out of order and the beer garden only handled cash. With all that being said the event staff was polite to me which i appreciated I can only imagine all the complaints they had to deal with. Also the sound was very good. l
Why in the world at a rock concert would you not let anyone take their drinks outside of the little beer area...Doesn't make any sense. But for the monster trucks you let people take their alcholic beverages anywhere. And the set up was so dumb. Let's cram a ton of people in this little room, where you get your drink then just stand in the same area. All in 1 little room. Next time let people take their drinks into the concert!!! This rule was beyond dumb for this concert. Never in my time at Alliant Energy Center did I have... read more
it was a great place but I think they could of had the VIP section different for the cheerleading competition - they could of reserved bleachers or had chairs (for the people who were watching their cheerleaders compete) to sit on so that the ones in the bleachers (in the first couple of rows(black seats) directly in front of performance) could see the performances. not many vendors to choose from as far as items to purchase and expensive. yes the vendors need to make money but don't have to rob the people.
