I love this place. I've been going here since I can remember. I see people commenting negatively on traffic and waiting to get inside. I've never had issues. Sure there's traffic but it's not bad at all. Actually one of the easier places to get out of. I believe there's 3 exits which have been open every time I've been there. Alliant Energy Center is by far the worst concert venue in Madison. Only one entrance open for a sold out show. We waited almost an hour to park and were 20 minutes late for the show. Should get some of our money back for such a slow operation. It's outdated and quite honestly should be torn down.
For countless years we ran our NBHA finals at the Alliant Center, never any issues. They built the new barns and unfortunately priced us right out of being able to use the facility any more. We had been a very faithful group but didn't seem to really matter. Too bad.
