Laura and Gil are very nice I met the owner of this company , Gil about 15 years ago . They took over some apts on Raymond St that I lived in . He has a woman that works with him named Laura that I dealt with mostly, and I loved her. She is very sweet and easy to deal with and understanding . She did everything she could to help me get my little house on NE Sandy Blvd . The only bad thing I can say about this company is the high deposits they charge , but it all worked out because I used the deposit money for a last months r... read more

Look elsewhere We've been with Alliance for about 4 years now. Before it was Portland Rental Service and not that they were any better at getting things taken care of but they for sure didn't have the attitude like Gil, the owner, at Alliance does. Overall, they have decent rentals for a resonable rate. But that's all they have. Once your in the unit things will begin to pop up and fall apart and getting them to fix things isn't an easy task. You can put in your request and they might send someone out or might not. They are ... read more

Where to begin, first moving into a dirty duplex, ridden with spiders a bugs, mold, really dirty smelly carpet. When we moved in it was deemed uninhabitable by Manhattan codes and services AFTER a lease was signed and after the property manager swore up and down that it was fine. We called code services and they said it was in bad shape and even gave us free to use lawyers. He said he deals with Alliance a lot in a negative way. Second they do not i repeat do not care who you are or where you are from they only want money. ... read more

whole process for renting an apartment of medium quality at Tigard was a disaster and a steal! turns out that for eight days, they were calling me to ask for personal information, supposedly to be approved. I gave them everything I was asked and when I almost quiet, they (Thom) called me to ask if somebody else would live with me in the appartment, I told that yes and he asked me to pay $45 for her application; it was friday and he hurried me up to pay with a money order, I had only 35 minutes, but I did, so I paid. Next day... read more

The whole process with this company has been a pain. I've never dealt with a small business that tries so hard to nickle and dime you, or is as disorganized as they are. Every part of living here was more of a pain than it should be, from signing a lease - to paying our water bill - to getting our move out deposit back. Get EVERYTHING in writing and be VERY thorough when you do your initial walk through inspection. By far the worst property management we have experience in 6 years of living in the Portland Metro area.
