I’ve had my van and my truck worked on by Joe and Rob, both jobs were quite complicated, especially the truck as it was a very unique scenario. Rob and Joe worked with me and the various funding and approval agencies to get the right equipment in to the truck and it has been an absolute game changer for me They are both capable, competent, professional and go out of their way to make things. Five star rating for sure!

We had an AdaptSolutions Asento XL-SEAT Motorized transfer board installed by this company which cost $9,000. They claimed to have had a lot of experience installing this equipment. But it was installed incorrectly resulting in a blown fuse when the seat reached the bottom of its travel. Alliance admitted their mistake and offered to fix it but it is a 7 hour round trip from our home to Victoria - very poor performance and response on their part.

We have a 2003 ramped vehicle in excellent condition, however ramp not working. Ramp factory has no parts for ramp repair as system too old, no parts available. Do I have to now purchace and pay for another used van with working ramp, cost around $ 13,000 to $15,000? Out of desperation I visited Alliance Mobility in Victoria. The technician was able to install a complete new operating system, discarding old defective computerized system, and ramp operating like new. Apparently Island Mobility switched over to Alliance Mobility. Today when I needed follow up on recent work done unsatisfactory by Island Mobility... i am told by Alliance Mobility that they have no past record. I just needed an adjustment that should have been done in the initial installation. Alliance Mobility is insisting on a 3 hours appointment for $390. With the possibility of a shorter billing but of a minimum $130 This company has no room for helping their disabled clients and I would definiyively absolutely recommen... read more
