If you have a rare or complex condition, he will probably discharge you or turn you away. Bedside manner can be dismissive and argumentative, especially when asking for clarification or trying to advocate for help. Had to be referred out for specialty care at Tampa General Hospital and USF Allergy and Immunology in Tampa, and he still refuses to help implement their plan of care locally because he “doesn’t recommend it.” By the way, they’re just cat and dog allergy shots for my pet allergies. Find a real immunologist ! He gave a wrong dosage...got skulleded by Professor, Chief and Educator Dr. Charlotte Cunningham Rundles from Mount Sinai in New York when I went to see her. Upon returning back place of home Cape Coral Florida I followed up on what I had was already scheduled gamma guard infusion, when I got to my infusion center...the nurses informed that Dr. Mendez cancelled that appointment and future treatment. Excelente atención con este Doctor y su personal! Increíble la dedicación y el profesionalismo! El doctor explica todas tus dudas y a mi bebé le mandaron una análisis y cuando estuvieron listos me llamaron para darme los resultados y preguntarme si tenía alguna duda o pregunta! Realmente muy preocupados y responsables! Los recomiendo mucho! Gracias al doctor y su excelente equipo de trabajo!
