This review is from service on December 14, 2020, since the company went under new management: I hired Comfortable Air Services to sweep my chimney. Soon after they had begun sweeping from the roof, a miasma of soot blew out my fireplace, coating all my furniture, walls, expensive rug and floor. My living room was destroyed. Comfortable air was hired to do an AC tune up this past summer. The technician who was in the attic obviously spoke no English, luckily I speak Spanish. The technician in the house showed me a video of my system in the attic and said whoever installed it used the wrong kind of tape to seal it and I was losing air. They offered to fix the problem and clean the return for obviously a way higher fee than just a tune up. I agreed and assumed the problem was fixed. Awful experience. They didn’t take the vents off, spent less than 30mins on a 2 story house, told me to spend $2250 to get rid of a mold problem and when I questioned him, he got an attitude and became defensive. I used a coupon and asked if he did all of the services on the coupon and he said yes. I asked to see the coupon, which he reproduced reluctantly and then found 3 or 4 services on the coupon that he hadn’t performed. minus 5 stars, They came and first inspection told me that was mold I refuse to paid the extra money about 470 for all pulse 65 chimney and I said later they probably spend 20-30 minutes on my home two store and done cleaning chimney and ducts, five minutes to clean a 10 year chimney is not believable. A complete scam, I am requesting money back but have not received any call back regarding the issue.

The air duct cleaning service is to clean only the ducts using the negative air pressure and go to every room to collect the debris that has been loosen. We had an air duct cleaning scheduled with Comfortable Air. They came and there were 2 technicians. Nick (who was very rude and ignored me when I greeted him) and Elan (Head Technician). Elan explained to me what they were going to do. 1st red flag I saw is they didnt unscrew my vents before they hooked up there hose. I then asked Elan why my vents weren't taken off and he stated that my ducts were plastic and he couldn't use the cleaning brushes. 8/2/19 -Comfortable Air LLC, is a Fraud. They operate under various business names. ************* **** **** **** **** ************ **** **** **** There technicians are scam artist. I hired them to clean my air ducts. I had over 30+ ducts that needed cleaning. The technician came in and the first thing out of his mouth was that I had mold. and It would need to be treated in order for the duct cleaning to be warrantied at an additional cost. 2 technician came to my house. The UV system is recommend with disinfection package to help prevent the reoccurance of mold, mildew and fungi. Please give us a call or email to do a follow up.
If I could give this company a negative score I would. Basically they get in you house under the pretense of the spectacular offer sent in the mailers for a 89.99$ duct cleaning. There is your first clue - too good to be true!!! Then they swoop in find "mold" which they determined based only off a visual inspection. No formal air quality tests done or even a bacterial load count. Then based off the visual mold - they use a barrage of tactics to swindle you into over 2500$ worth of work. Technician decided to open the unit to do a routine inspection and found all kinds of problem with my A/C unit. Problem that were never brought up during the home inspection 6 month earlier. Anyway, that's not the worst part! Prices for those services are not listed anywhere. So its basically up to the tech to make his own pricing.
