The issue is not with the Doctor but the office staff and billing department. My daughter is seen on private insurance with the VA picking up as secondary. We don't pay copays. I am seen by referral from the VA directly and don't use insurance. I came to my appt in 2025 (I see my review then was deleted) and at my appt they told me it was cancelled. Update: They called me this morning, which is the day after the post, asking me to come in right away. I appreciate the call and understanding from the staff and Dr James. Thank you for responding to my post so quickly. So far I have had hives and angioedema for about six months now. Saw Dr James in Feb. This is when I had an allergy. Then had to go to give blood at a specific location during certain time, which didn't complete all of it due to Mayo Clinic issues. No calls about my blood work, I had to call them. Stay away unless you want to end up with a huge bill even when you have insurance!! Cannot get anyone to even have a conversation with me about a claim that my insurance never received and now they are saying it is my responsibility. Ok fine. So I asked for the copy of the primary EOB and a copy of the claim so I can fax it myself. They literally just sent me to voicemail twice and responded immediately with a text saying it’s my responsibility and now no other response?? How am I supposed to handle without a claim?? This office does not put the patient first. The first red flag is that when you call in the patient has the last option on the phone. You know you are going to an exceptional doctor’s office when the patient is put first. The receptionist, nurses, and doctors are all rude. They act as if you are waisting their time. However, most of the time the ladies who give the allergy shots are nice. If you do an altered immunization schedule you’re looked at as if you have two heads. I’m not even saying no immunizations.
