Told us what could be done but didn't make us spend lots of money on the first visit. Kind, competent staff, very responsive and reassuring.
Let me start with the people in this place, none of which are dog friendly and the doctor was very invasive with her question about why I haven't had my dog fixed very rude with everything as if we were keeping her from other more important things. I pick this place to take my 9m old shar pei because it had very good ratings and it seem legit. My baby was not feeling well and his eyes seemed to be itching and getting swollen I was very worried and needed relief which was not given the end result of this was my dog needed eye... read more
Allentown is the only place I will ever trust with my four dogs. They always treat them quickly and their prices are impossible to beat!

As the owner of exotic pets (hairless rats, hedgehog), I've been through a number of lousy vets -- the kind that say "yes, we take [insert exotic pet type here]" and then charge you $50 to say "I'm not sure what's wrong. Buy this expensive medicine!" I can happily say that Allentown Animal Clinic is different. As soon as I walked through the door everyone was friendly. I need to send a huge, huge thank you to the vets & techs at Allentown Animal Clinic! Our curious, lovable 14 month old Golder Retriever Winston decided to eat a small plastic baggie that was blowing in the wind while out playing ball yesterday in the fields. We called the bet and they took us in, gave him some medicine, and back up it came! Thankfully no surgery to have it removed! So if anyone out there is in search of a vet, please keep them in mind and give them a call. They come highly recommended!
