Our heat pump was beginning to frost up and I was worried it was low on freon. We had a gentleman at our church tell us that was probably the problem. So my wife and I started our quest to find someone who could fix it. I had several companies come out to check my heat pump and they all tried to gouge me. One company said I need new circuit boards, another said I needed a whole new system blah, blah, blah...let's dance to the tune of about $1000.
