They are happy to take your money for an application and then ghost you and treat you like you are an inconvenience when you call asking about your application status.
Absolutely abhorrent people and especially bad team to talk to, they will talk down to you and treat you like garbage never apply to one of these places they are just taking application fees and leaving the listing up, never apply if you want to save your time and money.
Scheduled an appointment to view an apartment in downtown Ashland. Arrived early and optimistic. The property manager showed up and walked straight for the front door without the slightest acknowledgment. Had to ask if they were the one we were waiting for… Made our way upstairs following their cold and slightly intimidating energy. The whole time there was an undertone of inconvenience and haste. I am consistently disappointed by this rental agency. They don't keep their website current, they don't return phone calls, and they charge an application fee for every single property that you're interested in. The last time I reached out about a property they took my $40 and I never heard from them. I would stay away.
As a long-term tenant (12+ years with AlleNorth), and longtime renter and adult over plenty of years and in plenty of areas, I can say that AlleNorth is the best in the business of property management. It’s rare to have a glowing review of a property management company, but here is one. AlleNorth are quickly and readily responsive for owner and tenant needs. Good for owners , tenants, and community. Highly recommended.
