We've used Allendorfer Roofing exclusively for our 120 year old Chicago Historic Bungalow in which we've lived for 43 years. Consistently best-in-class service. If you call, ask for Stan. He knows Chicago roofs better than any contractor I've met. There is NO other company I'd trust to treat our roof and gutters. None!

my experience is similar to an earlier review by Matthew Pezley. Stan came out to inspect our roof, but several weeks later i still don't have a quote. i followed up on his mobile number, which worked fine when scheduling the initial appointment, but now there's no response. i also followed up with the office, who assured me stan was still with the company and that he would contact me, but still no response. i'm fine if they don't want the job, but at least have the professional courtesy to let me know.

I called and spoke with someone twice and was told I'd get a call back. I never did get a call. Find someone else.

My front porch roof and gutters were destroyed by a fallen tree during a storm. I received three bids for the job and Allendorfer came in the middle, but they were the most thorough in terms of their written estimate. Work went smoothly once they received the deposit and the work was done very well. Communication with the office was great. I plan on working with Allendorfer in the future for any roofing and gutter work and will recommend to friends and family.
