Oakview Estates, an apartment complex under the umbrella of Altman Management Company, Inc., has been horrible to deal with during the worst months of quarantine and shelter in place. Altman, is a tristate company with over 80 property complexes that received between $2 - $5 million in PPP Loans. This apartment is trash. I’ve lived here for 4 years out of convenience of my job but this place is literally the trash dump you never asked for. The rugs come up and they don’t fix it I’ve been on a wait list for new rugs for 2 years. The manager here I’ve heard has been pocketing money cause she’s a con artist. It’s an honest nightmare. My husband and I came here to Kutztown in 2015 to continue our education at Kutztown University. We were looking for a community that wasn't too far from the university but far enough away to not have to deal with the partying younger crowds as we are in our 40's. We were also looking for that country feel but with some modern technology. Kutztown Gardens has been a wonderful place to live in.
