Did you know that you can cripple your own children, sexually abuse them their whole lives, try to kill them for the insurance money, and not only will nobody care, they'll help the parents keep on doing it? Did you know that you can blatantly lie to get a 302 in order to further your abuse, continue to abuse that person while they're committed, and not only will nobody care, they'll help you do it better? The only thing this place does well is racketeering.

I have been a music coach with a program with We Rock Workshop, a program sponsored by DHS for foster and former foster youth, and I have seen first hand how much the county cares for our youth. It's not easy to grow up, but I feel that our local caseworkers have very big hearts who see our county's kids as more than numbers or files, but as young people with promising futures. Much love to Allegheny County DHS, thank you all for the hard work you do to help our young folk thrive!

Almost impossible to deal with, the worst staff, the worst service and support, and more mistakes than any other government agency I have had the displeasure to deal with. They encourage fathers NOT to spend time with their children by treating us all like criminals and enforcing draconian rules that make it financially beneficial to give up custody. When will we get a Governer or official who cares about parental rights? And yes, I tried to contact Gov. Wolf and his office replied with a nasty, accusatory letter simply beca... read more
