Dr Sundin is a great dentist! My four year old child was absolutely terrified when he went in, and Dr. Sundin calmed him down and was very kind. We've been there several times now, and David is so brave that he'll sit in the chair by himself. He even had a tooth removed (when it was damaged by accident at home). We will stay with Dr Sundin until the kids go to college :-)
My son had three appointments. It was a NIGHTMARE! He strapped my five year old to a papoose. Told him he was a baby when he cried and got angry when my son asked questions and aske me if he was ADD.
I've known Dr. Sundin and his staff for about 2 yrs. now and let me tell you it's been a pleasure. My family is very comfortable coming to his office.
Waiting room alone is quite, let's say dingy. The staff is alright. Some days you get a staff member who has an off day and some days you don't. However it should not affect the quality of ones performance. Everytime we have been there we have had to wait, even when it has not been busy. As far as handling goes, its not bad but I believe they could do better with younger children when it comes to getting them to cooperate.
Dr. Sundin and his staff are very professional and they ease the tension for the parent. They also have a very child freindly enviroment that makes the children feel at ease.
This office instead of sending it through my proper insurance. They wrote out a expensive bill, and tried to charge me. Then when i refuse to pay considering it should have went through the insurance people. They sent it to a lawyer to collect a debt. Now i am in the middle of disputing these charges!
I will never forget the negative experiences my son and I had dealing with Dr. Sundin and his staff. I just mentioned Dr. Sundin's name, now several years later, and my son immediately said, "Dr. Sundin. I remember him. He hurt my teeth.!" He and his staff were not kind and compassionate to children, from what I observed. I used to hear kids crying and complaining, only to be reprimanded harshly.
