I am a friend and emergency contact of a patient of Dr Goldburt. My friend’s experience with her has been a complete mess. He had a stroke a year ago. The doctor never sent my friend to a neurologist, we tried several times but Goldburt said none were available for at least a year……….????!! She prescribed meds for severe migraines and when the meds ran out the pharmacy and my friend sent in requests for refills and no response from the doctor. Dr. G. takes the time to listen, she is thorough and detailed in her analysis and descriptions. I've never had any trouble scheduling an appointment.
My experience with Dr. Goldburt has been pleasant. But 90% of your interaction/experience with a doctor is with their front office team and unfortunately her team affects her overall rating. There has been more than one occasion where I have found it nearly impossible to get a response or call back from her office/nurses. The latest issue in particular was where I had asked for a prescription for an ailment that I was hoping to stop while the symptoms were mild, but I was unable to get the prescription filled until THREE day... read more
The office is horrible. They canceled my appointment stating that they no longer accept my insurance. Meanwhile I had already seen her 3 times with no problem with insurance. I called my insurance carrier and they said that she was in the network and had no reason to cancel my appointment. I called the office back and they still insisted that they weren't accepting my insurance. I now have medicare but no way am I going back to her. I wonder if Dr Goldburt even knows they canceled my insurance. Very disappointed.
SHE IS THE BEST, AWESOME. CARING, PROFESSIONAL. COMFORTABLE TO TALK TO. EXPLAINS THINGS TO YOU SO YOU UNDERSTAND. AND NEVER RUSHES YOU OUT UNTIL YOU ARE FINISHED WITH YOUR QUESTIONS AND FEEL GOOD WHEN YOU LEAVE. LOVE HER!!
