The storage facility is ridiculous with raising the rates. I'm paying well over $200 more than when I originally signed the lease three years ago. All they've done is put lipstick on the pig. They do not fix security issues.
When I initially rented my unit I was provided a price and that was the price I paid for a couple month. Then without explanation the rate changed to almost half again more. My unit has been broken into, the climate control was out for months and the rate went up again. Now my rate has increased yet again to more than double my initial rate in just a little over 2 years. Place has been fine other than doubling in cost to $170 in 4 years. But the other tenants need to learn to mind their own business and not harass other people. Blocking the exit and refusing to leave unless I use the keypad despite always having used my phone. How could I have gotten into the facility if I didnt have access? It is not other tenants responsibility to police the place, refuse to clear the gate, nor force others to do something when it's 2025 and the use of the app allows for wireless gate opening....
