All Points Home Inspection was recommended to us when buying a newly constructed home by our realtors Chris and Brad with Epic realty. He claimed that we had a great looking house and found no big problems. We have had nothing but problems since the day we closed on the home. The biggest issue being that in two separate areas of the home there are uneven foundation walls that were poured and the floor joists are measuring off by half an inch where it attaches to the sill plate which is creating a slope in the flooring. All Points Home Inspection did not catch that the discharge line from the water softener had apparently only been held in place by the previous owners washing machine. It was not secured in any fashion, and flooded half of the house before we moved in. We had to live in a hotel for two months while that portion of the home was reconstructed. Additionally, we were not informed that the house had polybutylene piping. That would have been nice to know, as we've now spent another $6,500 to have the house re-piped.
