We took a 12-day private tour with All Japan Tours recently.. The destinations (Nikko, Mt Fuji, Kanazawa, Kyoto) were breathtaking, and our Kyoto guide was very good. BUT All Japan Tours' management is highly amateurish. For the initial leg of our journey, they assigned a disappointing, daily changing assortment of four guides with minimal depth, changing drivers, and their itinerary planning was sub-optimal—even double-booking the same craft workshops.
