five weeks, a handful of "fibs" and me with a torn hose.. Well, I guess I'll begin on a positive, and that's this; for the month Mel will keep your car he's really easy to talk to and courteous. But long story short- I was quoted five weeks later as needing " a new turbo" "yours is shot"- and quoted 1700$+ for the replacement- and that quote was with a USED TURBO(you don't replace a unit that spins 100k rpm w/ another used unit)!! feeling totally bummed and confused I told Mel that seemed really pricy and I can't afford that... read more

It's all about the customer! Finally!A car repair shop that will do all they can to help a customer. I wish I had found this shop a long time ago.I have driven a Saab since I was sixteen. The cars are great, yet I never fealt like somebody had my back till I met Mel and the folks at his shop on Chestnut! From the service writers to the lot boys, you feel well taken care of.They fixed the stuff that needed fixin, and pointed out the things we needed to plan for.That feels good.

9 Sept 10 Compressor Replacement My compressor was acting up, and it being an essential part of the engine, Red Noland SAAB was out to charge $1780 before taxes for the repair. I looked up Mel and All About SAAB repair in Colorado Springs and they took care of the repair in a day and a half at a fraction of the price, almost half off of what Red Noland would've charged me. Give these guys a shot if you need SAAB repairs, I don't htink you'll regret it.Mat

Not really sure about this place I have so many mixed emotions about this place. It took him 2 weeks to diagnose my car. Then another 3 to fix it. After 5 weeks I was so happy to have my care back, however 1 block of getting home, the same problem occurred that I had just paid $1,500.00to have fixed. Mel is not very good about keeping you updated on the status of your repairs. Finally a mechanic I can trust After years of going to the dealer for my Audi A4 for repairs and paying ridiculous charges even when just needing an oil change. I found Mel's All About Saab Repair. He works with you and takes care of you as he would like to be taken care of. I am early on in the experience but so far have recommended a friend to him already. I find his service and prices to be great.
