My family has two Monarchs and two Mantises -- the first Monarch was purchased in early 2013. They've gone car camping, paddling, hiking, art-studio-touring, and to Scouting events large and small. When my daughter's Scout Troop went winter camping in -13C temperatures in February 2018, the oldest Monarch came home with a broken leg. Alite customer service ROCKS!!!! I purchased the Alite Mayfly chair to take on my very first camping/backpacking trip. Due to an unpredicated flash flood, after spending the night on a cliff in a terrible storm we had to be rescued by helicopter. My chair (and other supplies) were washed away in the flood. Alite customer service replaced my chair so I can continue my hiking and camping adventures. I am so appreciative. Alite Meadow Rest Chair what an amazing chair to have when you on the sand.
After having some issues with the Mantis chair frame, I returned it and requested to have it exchanged for the Mayfly model. I sent it back and they quickly acted upon my request and they sent me the Mayfly. While somewhat disappointed with the Mantis chair, I am very pleased with the Mayfly. Very sturdy and easily packs into my backpack. Thanks Alite for your prompt customer service.
Love these chairs, built tough with machined aluminum parts, not flimsy plastic like the imitators.
Not only is the product quality insane, but customer service is top-notch as well. I recently lost one of the "feet" to my Monarch chair. I reached out to Alite, and someone got back to me within 24 hours. They asked for my address, and send me two replacement parts (I only needed one), which arrived within a week.
