Failure to honor “lifetime warranty “
I guess I was lucky with my Monarch chair! My frame broke in April 2019 and I asked for the piece that broke as I can easily take out the shock cord to replace. They did not sell pieces and were out of frames so they sent a brand new chair with heavier frame. Then they did even better by sending a new frame for old chair in May. No response to my emails at all, life tine warranty pah what a load of crap, they have taken the money and run and have no interest in the mess that has been left behind
Do not buy!!! They will not respond to any emails, I received a defective chair and they have not gotten back to me on over 3 weeks!!!
Used to be a fan of their lightweight backpacking chairs. I bought one with a manufacturer defect where one of the back supports was longer than the other which made the back wonky and unstable. I tried contacting them for help and their website HIGHLY encourages emailing and does not provide a phone number. They provide several email addresses. respond to emails about warranty claims!
Have a chair, it broke, now more than two weeks after contacting customer “service” I have yet to even get an email back...
I have the Mayfly chair, and while I would say I love the design and usability/portability, the leg of my my chair broke after less than 2 seasons of use. I think this was just a defect in my chair as the product seems otherwise very well crafted. I contacted the company via email twice and Facebook and so far I have not heard back from anyone. I’m disappointed in the customer service. I’m hoping someone will contact me soon. Until then, I can’t say is recommend this company.
