I exhale as I write this review! Ali’i Animal took extreme care of our Precious Kobe for the past several months. Vax updates, curing skin irritation and ear infections nothing that couldn’t been taken care of with professionalism and care. Secondly, being in the military and traveling with a 4 legged family member can be extremely stressful. The entire staff was remarkable assisting my family and I as we prepped Kobe for the long journey back to Florida. Great energy, environment, Vets and staff, truly a great spot
We've been bringing our pup here for 7+ years now and Dr. Yasunaga and the entire team at Ali'i Animal Hospital have always been extremely friendly and professional to us and our pooch. Wait times are reasonable and the hospital facility is always very clean. I will say that they do tend to recommend a lot of different tests, treatments and medication options when our pup is unwell, BUT I've never felt pressured at all to spend more money than I was comfortable with or spend on care that we didn't feel justified the cost. The staff was great but I got the felling from the vet that getting my bill as high as possible was more important than my dog"s wellbeing. I paid $200 for a test that if by slim chance it was positive would not have changed the outcome of treatment. I also paid $78 for a de-worming medication and that was not necessary at all. Unfortunately I thought the "local" vet clinic was going to be different from the mainland vet clinics but I was wrong.
