I find it hard to believe any of the negative comments about Dr. Gilchrist. I am just now two weeks post surgery and I am very pleased. I am 68 years young and went in with horrible prolapse. I can say that today I am a happy girl. Now my organs are back where they should be.

Trying to get Dr. Gilchrist to explain tests and procedures (that she recommended), was like pulling teeth. She was rude with no patients. I was told by a staff member to come to the office with a full bladder. I have a urinary incontinence condition with severe kidney disease. I should never go with a full bladder. If they would have checked my chart, they would have known. I had to be rushed to ER!

Very abrupt and condescending. No bedside manner. Intolerable wait times. Unprofessional, discombobulated check-out process.

If I can save anyone from going to her I will be content. She gave a wrong diagnosis and I had many uncomfortable procedures all for the wrong diagnosis. Goodness, I can’t believe she is a doctor. It’s actually terrifying. I went to a real doctor, sadly he said I see a lot of her misdiagnosis and “botched procedures.” She really needs her license taken away. She’s that bad. I don’t review doctors good or bad, but I had to review this one bc she is the worst. I waited for two hours as well.

Be warned, first time doctor visit is $395. I was only with the doctor for 5 minutes. I was told my insurance would cover everything and it didn't. Personal injury lawyers and doctors are looking more alike each day.

Dr. Gilchrist had me undergo several tests that were invasive, time-consuming, and costly. I was willing to deal with the discomfort and expense because I needed answers and help -- I got neither. After all that she basically told me I was old (I'm late 50s) and offered me a pill with lots of side effects. She was impatient, did not seem to care about my concerns, and was rough with her exam. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Gilchrist gave me a free two-week sample to try out before getting the Rx. While using the sample, I experience unbelievable constipation, so I left a message to please change the medicine and call in another Rx. I thought they changed the Rx but it was the same as the sample and cost approx $100. Could not return Rx. Tried Rx less than one week. Almost died from stomach cramps. When I I complained, Gilchrist sent me a letter to find another doctor and don't come back.
