Dr. Houde and his assistant Becky were the absolute best people I have ever worked with. I was 19 and had a serious knee injury. I couldn’t walk or do anything. He sent me to PT. And when that didn’t work I had the first surgery on my knee. Unlike most Dr. Houde is not surgery happy. He wants you to get better without surgical intervention but admits when that isn’t possible. Dr. Houde I thank you for everything you have done for me and any problems I have in the future I will definitely call you first!
I want to thank all the nurses that helped me with my stay for back surgery they could not have been any more helpful they sure did there job.. especially Brildget she very helpful and professional and made my wife and me feel great about our stay. I would highly recommend Alice Peck Day care Memorial hospital and thair staff. By the way if you have back trouble there is no one better doctor than Doctor Magnottir and her staff. I had a four hr. As an employee of APD, I know that we have stellar providers but I can say that even more now. I had right rotator cuff surgery in April of this year. Dr. Houde, Becky Van Dolah, JT and Val Clarkson are outstanding clinicians! As this surgery is a challenging one, they prepared me for that day and the recovery so accurately that nothing came as a surprise. I had knee replacement surgery on Sept.6 and I developed cellulitis on Sept. 14th. I went to my local hospital where a PA and a doctor both recommended I be admitted back into Alice Peck. I was refused by my surgical team. I am so not impressed
Wonderful employees here. Going in soon for a second operation under the care of Dr.Gregory. His bedside manor with his patient is excellent. The receptionists, nurses, technicians, vounteers, are all so outstanding. Punctuality is something that is recognized as very important at APR as well. Your time is seen as important too. Had three pre-op tests within 15 mins. Thank-you all for what you so well.
Wonder the stupid person who decided you should have to fill out forms ever visit even if it is the next day and they ask you if nothing has changed
