After my mother's heart attack this quack of a doctor is so unskilled, he gave my mother a very painful blood clot. He was unapologetic and frankly doesn't seem very bright.

I needed a cardiac cath before my impending mitral valve repair. Dr Salami performed my cath through the radial artery approach.Zero complications from the procedure. He reviewed the results with me, as well as my wife. Then he called the next day to make sure I had no questions about the procedure and results. Straight shooter, doesn't waste time, gets directly to the point, and truly cares about the patient It's worth driving down from Orange County to see him.

My 73 mom has a chronic heart problem. Heart problems runs in my family. So you can imagine how many cardiologists we've dealt with. My mom's pervious doctors made mistakes resulting in her having a mild heartattackt within a few hours of her visit & emergency open heart opp. a few hours before she was supposed be released (3 a.m.) Dr. Salami has done a grear job caring & explaining things. There've been many times when I had to call in to ask questions. The staff have been so helpful & nice.

Anyone who gave this doctor 4.3 stars probably was seen by another doctor within Salami Inc. My 92 year mother had a serious heart problem and was admitted into Scripps Mercy hospital 4/2015. Dr Salami was the hospital doctor responsible for her care. After a few days he discharged her and prescribed a medication that almost killed her. The in home care nurse, Danial, was outraged by this doctors incompedence, discharging her in unstable condition and the lethal medication. BEWARE OF THIS DR.
