Been coming to Alhambra Veterinary Hospital for 40 years! We even moved to another city, but still make the trip out to Alhambra. Dr. Henstra is the best and now she hired Dr. Carrillo - a class mate from high school!! I can't say enough that we trust our most dearest dogs to these people...THEY ARE WONDERFUL!
best place to take youor pet, if sick alhambra's veterinary hospital was very friendly and helpful in every way when my dog was sick. they also have a excellent customer service and if anything happens to my pet i would definitely take it there again : )

Wonderful office I had a chow who lived a healthy 16 years thanks to them. I now have 2 dogs and they had a litter of 5 who all go here. I appreciate all of their hard work and great customer service. Keep up the good job.
Hit or miss... This clinic is usually quite busy, and it appears that many of the patrons have taken their pets here for years. The staff is friendly. The two vets are both knowledgeable and helpful. However, when it comes to the vaccination schedule, I was quite confused. The new guidelines recommend most vaccines every 3 years (for adult dogs), except the Bordetella. But this office recommended annual vaccinations, and even a 6 month parvo vaccine for my adult dog. When I called for clarification, the vet tech said that's ... read more
Most Compassionate, Sincere & Knowledgable Dr. I know I have been loyal to Dr. Henstra and her staff since 1985. Dr. Zak was when I started going to this office and then Dr. Henstra was introduced. I travel a distance to make our regular visits. I have maybe twice in this duration to see if trying someone local to me would be worth switching Veteranarians. I've taken my cats here for years. Dr Carrillo is the only vet that my cat April can stand. She has a gentle way with the animals and is very knowledgable regarding treatment of diseases - physical and psychological. I think the price is moderate. I would have given them an A, but sometimes the floor in there is dirty or has a puddle on it. The exam room is always sterile.
