The Bloody Mary was a generous pour but, with only two soggy shrimp and no celery, it was mediocre. Breaded sole lacked flavor and moisture. French fries were a 7 on a 1-10 scale and , unfortunately, the highlight. Dining area had more flies than patrons.
Bloody was okay, had good sized shrimp but needed a celery stalk and olive. Fish tacos came highly recommended but needed better presentation and cabbage slaw instead of romaine. Sole should have no coating...pan seared with butter, lemon and an herb would improve the dish... skip the white bread upon which it was served. FF were the best part. Site is outstanding and staff is very friendly.
RecommendedA little pricey, but overall, pretty darn good. On the downside, as mentioned, prices were a little high and portions were on the small side with flavors being just ok. Though I would recommend the Huckleberry Lemonade as a cold adult beverage choice. But on the upside, menu options were good for the area and hey, you can’t beat the location. Right on the water with plenty of outdoor seating and two floors indoors keeps the wait times down. You can also pull right up in your boat and dock just steps away from the front door.... read more
We had 6 entrees and only the kid’s meal grilled cheese was good; cheese burger was okay. Lobster Roll and the Fish Point are not worth it. They didn’t even get the standard margarita right! If you just want to dine with the lake view, just find an alternative place.
