This place gets four stars because most haircuts I've had have been good. Unfortunately, when I went today I left looking like a Teletubby... It was bad y'all. The older guy in like the 4th chair doesn't know what a medium skin fade with finger length hair on top is. If it sounds boring, it's because it is. I'm about as vanilla as they come. He was using scissors instead of clippers for a skin fade... Wow! I asked him to fix it and he clearly didn't know what to do... I felt so bad for him I still tipped like 5$. Be careful ... read more
Just moved to DC and did my research before picking a barber. Found Abner at this shop through Google reviews and he seemed like a solid choice for the haircut I was looking for. Booked an appointment through Squire for 1:00 PM today, drove over, paid for parking, and walked in at 12:55. Nobody acknowledged me so I sat down and waited. After a few minutes, one of the barbers pointed me to an open chair in the back with an older gentleman. A place you should never prefer, such indifference cannot exist. It doesn’t matter whether you show a picture or describe what you want. They cut your hair however they like. Beyond disgraceful.
