Alex's MVP Cards Alex's MVP Cards and Comics is a sports card comic book shop that my son likes to shop in. They are on a side street and on the smallish side and you wont find anything real spectacular but they are friendly and do carry enough of an assortment of new and old products that unless you are an advanced collector you should be able to find something that makes you happy. They charge decent prices and have always been friendly.
Decent sports and comic shop Alex's MVP Cards & Comics is one of the few stores of its kind in Manhattan. Their prices for packs of sports cards are typically siginificantly higher than the card stands on the street. In addition, the single cards are more expensive than they should be. However, the people who work there are very nice and helpful.
Upper East Side Comic Source This tiny shop has been in business for many years. They have a decent selection of older material but don't seem to order everything that is new. They have lots of sportscards and a smattering of action figures. The service is fine and they are friendly.
