My son is 5 years old and has had speech issues for years. He has been in different programs and has had various speech therapists and nothing compares to Ms. Alexis! Alexis is amazing! She works so hard with our daughter and is always sending us easy/simple strategies we can use at home. She even helped the grandparents get on board. Our daughter loves working with Alexis. She is excited for therapy even when she’s tired!

Alexis provided us with simple yet effective strategies to use with our two year old son. The strategies were focused around improving his communication skills as well as combining words. Alexis also recommended different tools to use when implementing these strategies to help our son make progress that was appropriate for his age and development. I don’t write many reviews, but I felt the need to! Alexis worked with our daughter on increasing her communication using parent coaching methods and modeling to show us how to help our daughter learn new words and increase her use of words and gestures to communicate. She is 19 months old and has now learned to sign more while saying “mo” for more when she is trying to tell us she wants more of something. Alexis helped me realize that my first daughter needed speech therapy around the age 2. I thought she was just a normal 2 year old using baby talk, but once she was evaluated, per Alexis' recommendation, I learned she was struggling. With Alexis' guidance, we were able to get her the help she needed between therapy sessions and home exercises. She is now 6 years old, in kindergarten, and excelling in class.
