We had a very positive experience with Courtney and the team at Alexanian in Kingston! We used them for a carpet runner on our main staircase. They came to the house and brought samples to try and match existing carpets in the house. They provided expert opinions and advice to help us make the best choice for our particular staircase and individual needs. We ended up with a runner that was exactly what we wanted! Installation was fast and pricing was transparent. A 10/10 experience from start to finish!
So many issues with this company. First we went in to ask for a quote for our stairs and picked out our rug. The guy I believe was Dave said “about $1500” rug and install so we proceeded. Then he said we needed to pay a 70% deposit before they even came to measure our stairs and that 70% was $2000. We paid it assuming he estimated over till he measured. The carpet we picked was not expensive and was for one level of stairs. Plus I can understand a deposit but 70% and before they even measured seriously!!!!! Then he provided ... read more

I’m not happy with their work. I asked for half my money back ($280) which is reasonable, to which they would not. Spending near $300 on cleaning shouldn’t leave your carpets with stains, dog hair and grass. I emptied my vacuum and sucked up what was left on the carpets to show what they missed. Picture of this is attached. I won’t be returning.
Just had my stairs and upstairs landing recarpeted. Courtney (store manager) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with product selection, information etc. Installers showed up on installation date on time and were very efficient, personable, and did a fantastic job. This is my second purchase of flooring at Alexanian. I also purchased my new hard flooring there as well. Courtney, again, was great with that. I strongly recommend Alexanian Kingston.
