I recently purchased a large area rug from Alexanian Carpets in Barrie. The experience I had in this store was excellent. I did not like the carpet when I got it home; exchanging it for another was done effortlessly. The staff were extremely polite and helpful at all times. Would definitely go back to this store again.
My wife and I came in last week and the Asian man, think his name was Alan, was the most disinterested, unhelpful person. Clearly only looking for bigger jobs Felt like he was trying to pass me off to the younger and older gentleman at the front, but they already had clients, so he was "stuck with us"
UPDATE: After leaving the review, the new store manager contacted us and sent someone out to repair the issues right away. The same installer came out and fixed everything up. The installer and new manager were both very apologetic for the experience. I hope they’re able to keep the positive experience going for other customers. Thank you! Not the experience that I expected.
We purchased carpet from Alexanian Carpet & Flooring in December and unfortunately have had a very disappointing experience. The installation was poorly done, with visible seams, raised areas, folding in spots, and damaged spot on the carpet. We contacted the Barrie store immediately and spoke with Rob to report the issues. It has now been three months, and despite following up, including reaching out to head office, we have not received a resolution.
