Great experience always. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable. Doctor Alexander Taich, MD is superb.
I would not recommend this doctor. He was totally uncompassionate with my Mother. There were issues with the transportation at her nursing home which was no fault of her own and he said he could not see her again.
He is a good doctor, but his bed side manner needs some major adjustments.No empathy or even a smile is offered.Business is business.
Dr. Is concerned with your eyes. Asked questions needed, answered ones I asked. Very thorough exam . Have been to him for years, cataracts, eye glasses, Shingles check up! Ashtabula is very lucky to have a Doctor of his caliber and experience! He’s there to dianosis and treat! Not waste your time. I highly respect him!
If you are looking for a physician who is understanding, you might not find it in Dr. Taisch sadly. I've been very ill for weeks. I missed two appointments; because I was ill my mind was not focused on anything else. His office sent me a registered letter that he would no longer recieve me as his patient! This is very sad. He is an excellent eye surgeon, great skills just not in this area.
