I liked this salon a lot, until I went to get my hair dyed. I was charged $100 so I figured I was getting the best color job. Nope, less than 2 weeks the back of my hair lost all the color. When I called to ask them about it, they told me it was because of my shampoo. First, if that's true, why would it only fade in certain areas and not all over my head? Second, if I was required to buy some special shampoo to maintain the color they should have told me this. I understand hair dye fades, but less than 2 weeks and fading inc... read more

Your hair had been badly damaged prior to visiting us, Adam explained and recommended solutions to you, i.e. homecare, etc. Our job is to educate the client and empower them with their hair. Love, love, love this place!! This is not only a classy salon, but also, the service is beyond compare. You are pampered, and your hair will be the best it's ever been. Previously, I was a bit apprehensive, but I am totally sold on the expertise in this salon. The products are the best and the hairdressers are outstanding people who have had intense training. Just had the most amazing experience at Alexander Hairdressing. This was my first appointment with Debbie. I had color, highlights, and a cut. My hair needed some major rescuing and I am so glad that I ended up in Debbie's talented hands! I have been coming to Alexanders for over 2 years now. I cant even put into words how extremely satisfied I am with the results of my hair and style. I have been going to Alexander Hairdressing since I moved to College Park a couple of years ago and have always seen Angie for my color and cut, as well as eyebrow waxing. I am always thrilled with how I look when I leave and can tell that all of the stylists in the salon are very good at what they do. My boyfriend goes to Marissa and is always very pleased with his cut as well. The staff are all knowledgeable and friendly and they use fantastic products. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone and do so quite often!
