Finally! - Thanks Debbie – Finally a place where someone understands my hair! I've tried salons for a while and have given up. I've done my hair on my own until i met Debbie at Alexander Hairdressing. She totally made me feel comfortable by being a good listener and setting realistic expectations on my fine curly hair. I came out of the place with an amazing, stylish haircut. Go see Debbie! she is awesome.
Highly skilled staff, professional – Finally, a hair salon without stylists competing and gossiping about each other. I have lived in Orlando for 10 years and really enjoy my time at Alexander Hairdressing. Everyone is so friendly and they have fun there talking about fun, silly things instead of "who did what to you" - boring!!! Debbie and Janice both do my hair and I love them both. If you're tired of listening to your stylist talk endlessly about stuff you couldn't care less about - go to Alexander Hairdressing.
Nothing Better – I had the most amazing experience today. I went in for the first time not knowing what to expect and instantly felt welcome and at home. Debbie knows what she's doing and what she's talking about. Everyone there was happy to be there (staff and clients). I am getting married soon and it feels so great to know that I at least know who will do my hair and make-up. If you haven't been to Alexander Hairdressing then you are missing out on a wonderful experience. I recommend this salon to everyone; men and women.
Do you have all the time in the world? – I left pretty happy with my cut and color typically, but without fail the stylist was always late then I would have to sit there for practically hours. I would get a single process color and trim and for some reason be there for around 2.5-3 hours (on top of waiting 30 mins for the stylist to be ready). I couldn't stand how long it took - though in their defense, they are taking their time - which I guess is better than rushing, but I left the salon for someone that can work more quic... read more

I am so sorry to hear that you were kept waiting for 30 mins - sometimes we do run into a jam - sometimes if other clients are late or sometimes we are running behind due to a number of things. BUT that is not your problem - what i would like to be able to do is work with you on a better time for you so as you are not kept waiting. Best Haircut!! – I have never had anyone cut my hair like Debbie, and I have been to MANY other salons in orlando,winter park and new york. She is very good at knowing what will look good on you, and explains why it will. She takes a lot of time, and you never feel rushed or forgotten like some other salons can make you feel. Oh..and I love her accent..lol
Great and Comfortable Salon – I love my colorist, Marissa,. and Sara is the very best stylist. Several people have stopped me to compliment me on my hair and I always tell them about Marissa & Sara @ Alexander Hairdressing, I highly recommend them and this salon for all your hair needs!
A great salon! – I moved to Orlando in July and found Debbie at Alexander Hairdressing quickly after. Everyone at the salon is extremely friendly (and a glass of wine when you walk in is always a nice touch). Debbie has given me some of the best haircuts I've ever had. Also great: Kerastase products.
Worse than root canal – This was by far the worst hair experience I have EVER had! The owner of this salon is unprofessional and rude. Save your money and go to a salon where you can relax and where they will treat you nicely.

Save your money and go to a salon where you won't be confronted by an unprofessional, rude owner. My 15 minute consultation and simple cut turned into a 2 hour "insultation" where the owner proceeded to humiliate me in every way that she could think of. We had never met you before and our job is to empower you with knowledge and how to get that luxury shiny healthy head of hair that turns heads, unfortunately we were unable to deliver results as you said you were quite happy to have damaged hair in order to be blonde.
