We are so thankful for Dr. Soutter. I was referred to him by our pediatrician after MUSC would not perform circ until he was a year old in an OR with general anesthesia, and we really did not want that to happen. Long story short, he listened to us regarding my newborn and then was so knowledgeable explaining how my son was misdiagnosed (which we already believed) and performed circumcision the same appointment under local anesthesia. Dr. Soutter is simply amazing! My son came to him after an appendectomy that should have been a pretty normal procedure from my understanding. After a follow up visit my son started having some complications and Dr. Soutter made my child feel at ease and reassured both of us every step of the way. Peace of mind, reassurance and humor go a long way when your child is uncomfortable and ill.
