Well I definitely got to give Dr Cho his props cause he definitely explained everything to me and gave me options and the procedure went well great rather
I saw 3 different doctors on the 28th at Kaiser, Optical, with Dr. Ateuyi, the 2 doctors in Ortho, Dr. B. Mena, for my knees, and then Dr. Choo who treated the arthritis that is developing in my right hand. Got home and my left hand has started but will address that soon. All appointments were great. Im 67 and learning about the learning curves in aging. I need to get better in managing my health as a senior as well as be expectant from my care providers. Wonderful Doctor that took very good care of me.
Dr. Choo was monitoring recovery from a broken collarbone that was repaired by another surgeon filling in for him. In April of 2025 he pronounced it healed and said the plates could be removed. We discussed leaving a plate ( I had 2) if when he opened me up he saw the bone was not healed. During the June surgery he removed both plates, and told me he was confident that I would quickly recover, but the bone rebroke that night just from shifting my shoulder, so clearly not healed.
