Dr. Ching has the best bed side manners of any surgeon I have worked with. He truly cares about his patients! I have had 11 spinal surgeries with Dr. Ching, and he has basically kept me moving and upright. The rest of the team is also excellent. Alexander Ching MD has a good reputation. Unfortunately my appointment was for a physician assistant Nicole Bangs PAc. With a MRI findings of a pinched nerve in my hand was told I had common piriformis and was prescribed physical therapy. I could barely walk and deteriorated until I had to go to the emergency room. Nicole behaved as though I wanted drugs. I was merely suffering and given nothing. Another doctor gave me pain relief and steroidal epidural injections. Surgery maybe ahead.
Very attentive, listens well, explains options, bottom line excellent fu care with a great outcome. Highly recommend!!
In 2010 I had a 5 level spinal fusion at OHSU and literally suffered for 9 years. There were a number of mistakes made ending up with no -union and the screws tearing out, terrible. Dr. Ching did the revision and after healing I was a new person, have been able to live a life after. Best surgeon ever.
