Broke my collarbone in a biking accident on Feb 18. After trip to the ER e-rays indicated I'd need surgery. Called Lazarev Orthopedics on Feb 19th, left a message asking if I could get an appointment for a consult. By Feb 26th, still hadn't heard back. Poor communication, 1 star.
This review is on behalf of my mom, Lyubov: My shoulder had been hurting for years. I saw multiple specialists who treated it but could not determine what was actually wrong. Several doctors suggested surgery, yet they were not confident about the outcome and told me they would “see what was going on” once they operated. Dr Lazarev is excellent! He listens and helps find the right treatment plan!
Dr Lazarev and his entire team provided excellent service throughout my knee surgery and postoperative care. They listened and addressed any and all concerns, providing detailed information on the progression of my recovery. A very professional and compassionate team, which I very highly recommend.
Dr. Lazarev guided me though recovery of a fractured shoulder that I incurred from a fall. Though the fracture was bad, he did not advise surgery, recommending an arm brace and physical therapy instead. While it took several months for my shoulder to heal, due in part to being 78 years old, progress was continual. I am now almost completely back to normal and able to continue with daily activities with no problem other than a slight constriction in how far I can reach upwards with that arm.
