The office clinical and administrative staff is unfriendly, curt and sometimes a bit nasty. Dr. Pro-Risquez was nice enough, but she was not very responsive. Nor did she make me feel confident when addressing my diagnoses and issues.
I’ve been going to Dr. Pro-Risquez for many years and can only say positive things about her. She is professional, kind and has handled all my medical issues really well. Dr. Pro-Risquez responds to calls, emails and requests for appointments ASAP.
Awful experience. She told me my blood test results were normal except for high colesterol. I see here for 2 years. and she never mention I have anemia because my iron levels were very low. My ferritin was 11 when the normal range 13-150. Two years later my ferritin was 6.5. I spent more than 2 years not knowing I had anemia because she never told me and by that time I didn't have access to my records. She Never bother. I don't recommend this doctor.
I have always been impressed by her bedside manner and medical decisions. She has always been available to respond to my calls and questions.
I went in to get my shoulder checked out after falling on ice. She told me it was just a sprain and to go back to work and "just take it easy". I told her that something felt seriously wrong and that I didn't feel comfortable going back to work in my condition (I'm a firefighter and need to be physically capable of doing my job), she just repeated herself. I went to see a specialist against her wishes and turns out I had torn my rotator cuff and needed surgery. I have had many problems with her
Terrible care provider. Her office is poorly managed by Karen, keep canceling appointments without notifying patients. The Dr is not nice ..don't go there...try your best to find another place.
Trully awfull experience. First of all the receptionists are rude and literally scream at you. The way the treat the elderly is shamfull. Moreover my experience with Dr Pro Risquez could have been something one sees in a sarcastic comedy. I made an urgent appointment because my blood pressure had shot up to dangerous levels and when the Dr arrived she screamed at me for being 10 minutes late and kept on going for about at leat a minute. Never asking how I was feeling. STAY AWAY!!
On call for Dr. Holzman I found myself several times having to deal with her. Totally incompetent. I could have died. Literally. Stay away.
I followed Dr. Pro-Risquez from her previous practice. She is a caring doctor who always has had my best medical interest in mind. She takes her time, knows my medical and family history well, and has had excellent diagnostic skills. From the sniffles to managing major illnesses, I have always felt I can trust her judgement.
