Food was tasteless. My sweet potato was mush. The sauteed mushrooms were burnt. Sirloin was tough. We will not recommend or return for another meal there.
Love the food! Except when the owners switched they got rid of my favorite french fries. :( They were hard to come by but when I found them I was happy. But now they are gone and I haven't found them since. Otherwise I love it! :)

We always patronized Alcester Steak house under old owners. So on way home from Sioux Falls we thought we would try out the new Alcester Steak house. Not to impressed with food. My husbands chicken breast 1/2 of it was cooked all the way, my potato casserole had no taste , prime rib was not even warm. The service was very slow. We waited a good 15 minutes before even asked what we wanted to drink. We are not sure we will return there. On the plus side the bathroom has been remodeled .
