Though I always have a smooth process for lab work. All are good and helpful. This was a one off - I visited the clinic for blood and urine testing and had an uncomfortable experience. A trainee performed my blood draw under supervision, but I was never asked if I was comfortable with a trainee doing the procedure. As a patient, I should have been informed and given a choice. I've always been really scared of needles even though i have tattoos and peircings... bloodwork is just hard for me. The tech I seen today was SO kind. When she seen I was scared she started asking me questions about my pets and made me laugh and boom it was over. This was also one of the first times I've been poked without a large bruise being left behind, she was very light handed and maybe I'm not as scared as I thought, cuz now idk why I cried but she was so nice about it
