I had cataract surgery with Dr Smolyar on my left eye 8/21/25 . I was amazed by afternoon how well I could see and very little discomfort! Drove the following day with no prescription glasses! A very pleasant experience having my right eye cataract taken care of by Dr. Smolyar. From the office professional staff right down to the surgical staff, it all went very smoothly. I highly recommend Dr. Smolyar and his group to take care of any of your eye health issues.
Early in 2025 Dr. Smolyar told me it was time that my cataracts be removed. We set a time in the Spring that fit my activities schedule for a specific evaluation and planning discussion. At that appointment the SW Florida Eye Care professional staff performed the basic vision evaluation in a friendly manner.
