Absolutely terrible doctor. After I broke my hand, I saw him for next steps. He spend no more than 5 minutes with me during both my initial and follow up visits, and prescribed "aggressive physical therapy," and said everything looked great. My hand wasn't feeling too much better so I got a second opinion, where I was told I needed surgery, otherwise I would become arthritic in 3 to 5 years. As a musician who is only 21, this would have been unacceptable. Truly horrendous doctor. Shameful.
Poor bedside manor! I recalled seeing him before and he brushed it off as if I did not utter a word. He gave poor examples of my condition and when I clarified his example then he got short with me as if I was not allowed to speak or give my opinion. He went as far as stating that he will be "paid if he gives me treatment or not". This is a typical example of the condescending attitudes that help foster mistrust of Montefiore physicians. He is one of the reasons why health inequities exists.
