I tried making several appointments with a high risk obgyn in this facility when my care was in cobleskill. I was never able to actually schedule one and my primary had to reach out and get it done. I ended up going to Albany medical center itself. On Google itself it is very confusing when you have to find a phone number for either facility. Great doctors and front office staff is great also. MFM schedulers are the worst. I’m an established patient and have high risk pregnancies. When I have a new pregnancy it’s as if I’m not their patient, they make it incredibly stressful to make the initial appointment. I’ve been trying to make my first appointment for my current pregnancy for 4 days now. If I had another choice I’d go somewhere else in order to avoid this aggravation. Albany Med is truly one of the worst medical facilities I have ever encountered. Horrible staff and doctors. No one there cares. Would rate zero if possible.
Report them to the department of health. Horrible bunch.
MFM was 5 stars took care of me after open fetal surgery for our SB baby Regular gyno?? It's been 2 weeks since my c section and I still cannot get ahold of anyone on the phone to schedule my postpartum visit. Put in a message to the portal today for it and still nothing unless lunch is 11-2 idk why no one can answer a phone for a 3 minute appointment to schedule
