1 star is too many! This place should be shut down. My wife was transferred from BMC in Pittsfield via ambulance for what she was told “specialty surgery”. Instead she was dropped off in the ER still in an open hospital gown. After about a 4 hour wait, she was called in for yet another ultrasound. From imaging, she was brought back to the waiting room for another 3 hours. Finally after 8 hours total at Albany Med (after 14 hours at BMC) she was told surgery was not necessary at this time. Huge shout out to the lab and Linda the most amazing supervisor! Albany med is the only lab I will use, I drive an hour for them. They are the best!!
Place is a confusing mess
I was sent to Albany med after glens falls said it was past their time to do mris , glens falls called down to let Albany know I was coming and that the mri was a priority. I laid on a hospital Bed in excruciating pain from about 8 pm until 12pm the next day still no mri, I was given a ice cold breakfast ( cold eggs and cold French toast ) at noon I was sent to short stay where I stayed until 545 in the afternoon and mind you STILL NO MRI , I pretty much laid there so they could collect insurance money and did nothing for my... read more
